Quake 3 VideosHere are some videos featuring Quake 3 Arena being played with a gyro mouse (the technology that the new Nintendo Revolution controller will be using) as well as a standard mouse. The resolution of the game is still 10240x3072 and runs on a 24-monitor Linux cluster here at Virginia Tech's HCI lab. As you can see from the videos, I was able to increase the frame-rate and the game is very playable and incredibly addicting. Special thanks to Travis Rose and Michael DellaNoce for their help! As usual, you can reach me at plastk@vt.edu if you have any questions or comments. Hope you like the setup!Mirrors Quake 3 (Gyro) on 24 Monitors (YouTube) VT Filebox Quake 3 (Gyro) on 24 Monitors (.wmv) Quake 3 (Gyro) on 24 Monitors (.mp4) more formats & higher quality clips coming soon...
